Lauren has worked in the long-term care industry for over 24 years, holding a wide range of leadership and clinical roles including Infection Control Preventionist, Unit Manager, MDS Coordinator, Director of Nursing, Interim Assisted Living Administrator, Quality Assurance/Risk Manager, and Corporate Compliance Officer for a 1,000-bed CCRC.
Lauren is Wound Care Certified, a LeadingAge WI I-Lead Graduate, and holds a Director of Nursing Certification. She has also previously been certified as an Aging Services Professional Risk Manager.
Currently, Lauren serves as a Clinical Advisor for a Wisconsin-based non-profit network that supports approximately 10,000 lives. In 2017, she founded Davis Clinical Consulting, a certified woman-owned business, where she continues to provide strategic support and expertise to long-term care organizations nationally.
Lauren is passionate about creating systemic approaches to improvement, with a strong focus on caregiver efficiency, patient transitions throughout the continuum of care, and ensuring positive outcomes through team engagement. She emphasizes staff involvement in process improvement projects, helping frontline employees identify and correct system breakdowns to enhance overall quality of care.
Beyond her professional work, Lauren is the proud mother of three children, who inspire her daily to grow as a mother, mentor, leader, and woman. She continually seeks opportunities for education, collaboration, and partnership to improve processes and create meaningful efficiencies within healthcare and beyond.
