The City of Janesville is continuing its community engagement efforts related to the potential future use of the property at 2400 Beloit Avenue, an underutilized site being evaluated as part of the City’s strategic priority of “Housing for All.”

Continuing with this engagement process, the City will host two additional community workshops on the 2400 Beloit Avenue Project on Thursday, December 11, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. The sessions will be structured as an open house, allowing residents to explore updated housing concepts that have been developed following previous engagement efforts. As attendees review the variety of ideas presented, City staff will be on hand to provide additional information, answer questions, and take resident feedback.

Both sessions will present the same information. With the workshops' open house format, residents are welcome to drop in at any point during either session. The 2400 Beloit Avenue Project is a City-sponsored planning exercise, and there are no pending development proposals for the site.

Additional information on the initiative is available at janesvillewi.gov/2400beloit.
