JATV Media Services The purpose of the channel is to provide informational, educational, and entertaining local programs Hours are Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

The station is funded through a portion of the annual franchise fee the city receives from Charter Communications and AT & T. Additional funding comes from grants, donations, and program sponsorship. Non-profit organizations and individuals can provide programs that meet the station’s Rules for Use. Copies of the rules are available at the station and must be signed by all JATV program producers. The station is located on the lower level of the Hedberg Public Library in the Administrative office area. Evening and weekend hours are by appointment.

Oh, deer, it's almost hunting season! 🦌 ? Rock County residents may dispose of deer carcasses at the City's Sanitary Landfill. However, there are guidelines for disposal to help fight the spread of Chronic Wasting Disease. For a complete list of these rules, visit janesvillewi.gov/deer.

🤩 Trivia Time: How many public fire hydrants are in the City of Janesville? (Answer at the end of the post)

It’s that time of the year again. Crews will begin flushing hydrants on Monday, September 21st!

Details:
✅ September 21st through early November
✅ Weekdays (Mondays through Fridays)
✅ Mornings: 5- 11 a.m.
✅ May cause temporary pressure fluctuations
✅ May cause discolored water – Solution: Run cold water for several minutes

🧦Life hack: Do laundry before 9/21! 👕

If water pressure or volume seems low after flushing is over, check your faucet screens. Need more help? Call the Water Utility at (608) 755-3115.
