Chief J.C. Poe praised the work of the department's detectives, noting that strong partnerships with local businesses and thorough investigative work continue to produce results.
“Criminals should understand that they cannot avoid accountability simply by crossing a city limit sign,” Chief Poe said. “Our detectives will follow the evidence wherever it leads to recover stolen property and bring offenders to justice. If you commit a crime in Jasper, you should expect us to come looking for you.”
