Notification of Upcoming Road Closure

The Jasper Municipal Water Department announces McCrillus Street between E. 7th and E. 8th Streets, including the 8th and McCrillus Street intersection, will be closed in conjunction with the water valve replacement project scheduled for Tuesday, October 7th, weather permitting. If inclement weather should occur, the project is scheduled for Wednesday, October 8th.


This section of roadway will remain closed until the project is complete.

Notification of Planned Water Outage - Tuesday, October 7th

Due to water valve replacement, the Jasper Municipal Water Department will be turning off the water service, weather permitting, on Tuesday, October 7th for a small portion of the city from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Should weather be inclement on Tuesday, the work will be scheduled for Wednesday, October 8th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


The areas affected will be E. 9th Street from Mill Street to Vine Street, E. 8th Street from Jackson Street to Fairview Avenue, and McCrillus Street from E. 9th Street to E. 6th Street.


After the work is complete, you may experience discolored water and/or air in your service line. To correct this problem, run your cold water tap for 15-20 minutes, or until it clears.
