A dream come true for me to read Alohalani…Welcomes Change was the ultimate “POP-IN” at St. Theresa Catholic School in Kakaha, HI on the island of Kauai. I attended this school during 2nd and 3rd grades! The memories, actual childhood friends, and scenery are all featured/written about in the book. The book was inspired from my time living on the island! My Ohana was present along with life long friends to share support and their aloha spirit! Mahalo for the unforgettable moment and memory!!! 🌺🌈🏝️

“POPPING” into South Elementary School on May 13th to finish up the Alohalani…Welcomes Change debut book sharing until summer was such a treat. My highlights have been sharing the pause button skill and answering so many unique questions at each stop! Thanks for the invite!

On the road to “POP-IN” at the Camdenton R-3 Elementary School Districts family night on April 30th. This was a lot of fun talking to the participants about how Alohalani…Welcomes Change is based on true events in my life as a little girl! I appreciate the invitation, interest, and book purchases. I was also amazed at how big this school is and all of the time and talent put into this big event!

Trinity Lutheran School was filled with such positivity and enthusiasm as I “POPPED-IN” to share Alohalani…Welcomes Change on April 30th. I could have spent all morning answering the students awesome questions about anxiety, being calm, and what Hawai’i is like! 🌺🌼
Such a beautiful audience!

“POPPING-IN” at Blair Oaks Elementary School was especially rewarding because my nephew and two nieces attend school there. Sharing Alohalani…Welcomes Change was awesome with a gym full of kiddos helping to press their “pause buttons,” during the plane ride! Thanks Mrs. Hentges for the opportunity and coordination!

April 22 was an Osage County Catholic Schools kind of morning to “POP-IN” and read Alohalani…Welcomes Change. This bright eyed group of students were so polite and interested in learning the coping skill that can help them “calm down” when feeling stress or anxiety. The questions they asked really mattered and took some courage! I’m thankful for another rewarding experience! Thank you also for all the book orders!

The place to “POP-IN” the morning of April 22 was Sacred Heart School in Rich Fountain. Alohalani…Welcomes Change was read to two groups of kiddos. It’s been so rewarding to have students share with me parts of the book because they have it at home! Thanks for the warm welcome and fantastic questions about Kauai culture.

High Point R-III Elementary School sure knows how to make a person feel special. I entered the school to be welcomed by a group of students wearing Hawaiian leis and teachers all dressed up in hula skirts! They totally set the atmosphere“aloha style.” This group of K-8 grades were really awesome to share Alohalani…Welcomes Change with on April 15! They were all great sports at showing off their hula moves too! Thank you to Lisa Lampe for arranging this very memorable “POP-IN.” 🌺
