Manila International Fashion Week Season 7 Unites Cultures Through Fashion at Okada Manila
Manila, Philippines – June 2026 – Manila International Fashion Week (MIFW) returns for its highly anticipated Season 7 on June 12, 2026, at the Grand Ballroom 1 & 2 of Okada Manila, bringing together an extraordinary lineup of local and international designers under the theme “Bridging Nations Through Fashion.”
As one of the Philippines’ premier fashion platforms, MIFW continues to strengthen cultural exchange through creativity, presenting collections from the Philippines, Russia, the United States, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Nigeria, and the Bangsamoro region of Mindanao.
The event opens with Young Faces to Watch Cycle 7, featuring emerging talents and internationally acclaimed designers including Emily Sy (USA), Jay-r Gamboa Flores (Philippines), Bello Vibes Collections (Philippines), Elena Murzina (Russia), Pamela Lomibao (Philippines), and Karolina Yakovenko (Russia), accompanied by a special live performance from Russian artist Ekaterina Adamaitis.
At 3:00 PM, the spotlight shifts to MIFW The Model Search 2026, the official modeling competition of Manila International Fashion Week. Guided by the theme “Your Platform. Your Power. Your Runway,” the competition serves as a launching pad for aspiring and professional models seeking opportunities in the local and global fashion industries. This segment is presented by Xpress and Well Hair.
The celebration continues with the Content Creators Runway Challenge, a unique segment that bridges fashion and digital influence by showcasing creators from the fields of beauty, lifestyle, travel, and social media.
From 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the Fashion For All segment highlights inclusivity, sustainability, and cultural storytelling through collections by Jason Tanjuakio, Pamela Lomibao, Mary Grace Lee, Precious Jewel Dimaculangan, Studio JMX/Kuture ni Jean, and MIFW Style Collective, alongside special appearances by talents from Star Worx, TV5’s official talent management arm.
One of the evening’s most anticipated highlights is Modest Fashion: Experience BARMM, featuring emerging designers from the Bangsamoro region. This special presentation celebrates the rich traditions, artistry, and cultural heritage of Mindanao through contemporary modest fashion.

A standout presentation will be Bench Bello’s “Modern Power. Timeless Elegance.”, a sophisticated collection that explores modern tailoring, architectural precision, and contemporary couture for both men and women. Meanwhile, Che Ituriaga’s “Royal Legacy” celebrates tradition and heritage through luxurious fabrics and regal craftsmanship, while Marjorie Kobayashi’s “Kimono Filipiniana” presents a compelling dialogue between Japanese and Filipino culture through sustainable fashion.
