Did you hear the tea ... ☕️🗣️ 🙉
At some point, you have to start taking rumors as compliments.

I mean, imagine having your name carried into rooms you’ve never entered, brought to tables where you’ve never sat, and woven into conversations you didn’t even know were happening.

That’s not irrelevance.
That’s fu***ng dedication. 😉 (on their part)

People don’t spend that much time dissecting and discussing things they don’t think about. And there’s something almost flattering about occupying that much space in someone else’s head without paying a dime in rent. 😘

But here’s the part people sometimes mistake for weakness:

🤐**Silence**🤐

Maintaining boundaries isn’t weakness. Protecting your peace isn’t cowardice. And staying quiet when you have the facts, the receipts, and the whole damn story safely tucked in your corner doesn’t mean you’re incapable of responding.

Sometimes silence is restraint.

Sometimes you know exactly which match would burn the whole story down🔥…and you simply choose not to strike it.

There’s a certain kind of power in knowing you *could* correct the narrative, expose the bu****it, return every ounce of energy, and drag everything hiding in the dark straight into the daylight…
…and deciding the conversation simply isn’t worth the price of your peace.

So you watch.
You listen.
You let people get comfortable.

And eventually, they reveal far more about themselves than you ever could.
Meanwhile, you keep living.

So keep talking.
Keep speculating.

Honestly, watching anyone become this committed to a version of you they invented is kind of entertaining. 🖤

That said…

I recently saw someone say:

*“I’m thinking about putting a pause on my healing journey and exploring being an as***le for a while.”*

And I’m not saying that’s Plan B.

I’m just saying even patience has an expiration date…

…and I always appreciate having options. 😌🔥

I’m okay being the villain in someone else’s story.

Especially when the person telling it has never said two words to me, never sat across from me, never asked a question, and never bothered to actually know me.

Because at that point, they’re not telling a story about *me* 😉

They’re telling a story about the version of me they needed to create.

If someone chooses assumption over conversation, gossip over curiosity, and projection over actually getting to know you, let them.

They weren’t looking for truth anyway.
They were looking for somewhere to put their own discomfort, judgment, resentment, or misgivings...and apparently, you made a convenient f*cking coat rack.

You do not have to defend yourself against every fictional version of you wandering around in someone else’s head.

And you sure as hell don’t need to abandon your path trying to correct the narrative of someone committed to misunderstanding you.

What people assume about you is none of your business.

What *is* your business?

How you move through this world.
How you treat people.
Whether your words and actions align with your values.
Whether you remain willing to have the conversations other people avoid.

Let them have their assumptions.

Willful ignorance is a choice.
So is open dialogue.
So is curiosity.
So is growth.

Choose accordingly 😎😉😘

And if I’m the villain in a story you wrote without ever getting to know me?

Cool.

At least give me a good fu***ng soundtrack. 🤘🖤🎶🎧🖕

Trust gets you killed. Love gets you hurt. And being real gets you hated.

Or so I've read and the world keeps trying to teach me. Apparently, I'm a slow fcking learner.
Because I have loved hard. I've believed in whimsy. In romance. In magic hiding in ordinary places. In people who say I'm here and actually stay.

Maybe bravery and stupidity just look remarkably similar when they're bleeding.
I've handed people the unedited version of myself, the painfully honest truth, and watched rooms empty.

People love authenticity until your truth becomes inconvenient.
🌊They love depth until they have to swim in it.🔥They love fire until they're close enough to feel the heat.

Now something restless lives beneath my ribs. Something feral. Something I can't meditate, reason, forgive, or fcking breathe my way out of.
It feels like an engine screaming down an empty highway at night🌌that low vibration settling into your bones.
Some nights, I want to become it.
Black sky. Speed. Wind. Noise louder than everything I don't say. I want to scream into the darkness until it is forced to listen.
Because there's so much inside me.

Grief with nowhere to go. Anger made palatable for other people's comfort. Words I've bitten bloody. Love with nowhere left to go.
I've carried it until I became the load-bearing wall for everyone else's comfort.

And my chest is tired.
Some days I swear I can feel the fracture beginning.

And part of me whispers: *Break*
Let the grief howl.
Let the rage have lungs.
Let every truth made smaller take up the space it needs.

And if the world crumbles when I stop holding it together?
Maybe it was never mine to hold.
Let it fall.

But not me. Not fu***ng me.
Underneath the rage, ache, and exhaustion, I don't want to disappear.

I want to be free.
After everything I've loved, lost, carried, and every room I've watched go empty...I'm still here.

A little haunted. A little wild.
Still stupid enough to believe in whimsy.
Still foolish enough to believe in romance.
Still brave enough to tell the truth.
Still capable of loving hard.

Maybe that's the part the world hasn't managed to kill yet.
Maybe that's the part worth keeping alive.

While I'm super bummed to not be headed back to Cleveland this month in my annual fundraising for Cleveland R**e Crisis Center
I'd still encourage you to get involved...

Whether your in Cleveland, Phoenix, Chicago, or a small rural community

This isn’t rare. This isn’t “someone else’s problem.”
This is happening - every day, everywhere.

⚠️ 1 in 6 women and 1 in 33 men in the U.S. experience attempted or completed sexual assault.
⚠️ Every 68 seconds, someone in the U.S. is sexually assaulted.
⚠️ Most survivors know their perpetrator.
⚠️ The majority of assaults go unreported.

Let that sit. Then decide to give a damn.

🔥 Support starts with awareness - but it doesn’t end there.

If you or someone you know needs support, these resources are real, confidential, and available:

🖤 RAINN (R**e, Abuse & In**st National Network)
📞 800-656-HOPE
💻 rainn.org (live chat available)

🖤 National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC)
💻 nsvrc.org (education, prevention, and support tools)

🖤 If you’re in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency services.

You are not alone. You are not to blame. Support exists.

🔥 Break the silence. Burn the shame. Believe survivors. 🔥
