We play a great deal of releases from Ancient Grease Records on the Hard Stuff show, for no other reason than they are without exception nothing short of fantastic. The label has been at it for the past 4 years, but they are truly on a roll in 2025. We’re just about halfway through the summer, and they’ve already had 4 releases in the last 2 months with more on the way before the temps cool off.

Shelf space is at an absolute premium here in Queens right now. As a result, these two piles represent my “new” section. The stack on the left is stuff I haven’t even gotten to yet. The stack on the right is stuff I haven’t gotten to spin on the show yet. Guess which one is bigger?
