Today July 1, 2019 we take time to remember our brothers Captain Richard Williams, Lieutenant Richard Reinhagen, and firefighters Steven Ennis, William Krejsa, and Leonard Radumski who made the supreme sacrifice while operating at alarm #1177. Please take a moment to remember these brave men and say a prayer for them, their families, and all the firefighters who have given their lives in the line of duty, also those firefighters who protect us day in and day out across this county. Hackensack Fire Department would like to thank all who have posted comments and shared stories about the sacrifice these brave men gave on that tragic day. Tonight @1800 hours at memorial park we will hold our annual fallen firefighter memorial. Thank you all again for the years of support

Hello all, I am reaching out in a time of need for my brother, Mitch. My brother has dedicated half of his life to emergency services, with his passion in being a firefighter. Mitch was involved in a freak accident while he was training his fellow volunteer firefighters, back in September of 2018. His health has been declining ever since the accident, eventually leaving him unable to work. This has left him in a deep hole financially, only adding more stress to the already unfortunate situation. My sister and I started a GoFundMe for him in hopes to help him get back his feet. By clicking the link attached, you can read his story in more detail, donate to the campaign to help him out, and share the page to help spread the word! If you have any questions, please reach out to me on here or feel free to contact me on my cell phone at 732-272-2244. We really encourage sharing the GoFundMe page to help us get as much exposure as possible, however, anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!
