Don't get so focused on becoming the person that God called you to be that you forget to recognize that you are becoming. You are not the same person who started this journey. Yes, you have certain habits that need to be broken, and yes, you could be a better person in some areas, but you are becoming. You're so focused on becoming this grand person, and you will become. But you're forgetting to recognize the little things that God is changing within you. The way that you are a lot more patient than you used to be, you're a lot kinder than you used to be, you're a lot more forgiving, you read your Bible a little bit more, maybe not every day, but you read it a little bit more. You're more aware, you're more obedient, maybe now you smile. Those little things ain't little; they matter. And they are a change that God is doing in you. Take a step back from wanting to be this grand version of yourself to appreciate the grand little things that God is doing in you. I hope this found you.❤️
