For those that have been following for a while:

As you can see, the entire content of this page has been rebranded. I am no longer in the Nail Technician business because of health issues.

My kiddo has decided that he wanted to start his own thing and so I've rebranded this account with his idea in mind. Since my account previously was focused on nail art and his ideas are artistic and creative, I wanted to go ahead and salvage what I could from this page and rebrand it.

Moving forward the content shared here will be creative and imaginative things he wants to share. I will be running the account and posting the things that he wants me to share without sharing his identity or his face.

There will be gaming, legos, stopmotion, and more.

If you're wondering where the name came from, studsandstories, it is a direct reflection from his love of legos and his imaginative stories. The name Studsey is what he came up with after we I decided the name. So from here on out, he will go by Studsey on any socials unless and until he decides to change it.

Thank toy for those who have been around for awhile. Welcome to anyonew. I hope you all enjoy what is to come.

Have a blessed day!

Kimberly

Dear clients,

With a heavy heart I am announcing my departure from Nova Vita Salon, as well as the nail industry indefinitely at this time.

I am thankful to have been able to do what I love for 4 years and so full of gratitude for my clients and coworkers current and past for pushing me to grow.

Unfortunately my dreams and goals, as far as the nail industry, must come to a halt and I need to find a new path moving forward.

I never dreamed that this time would come so soon and unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control it has.

I am truly heartbroken that it's come to this, but I am no longer able to keep up with the physical demands and have realized that I will not be able to if I should return.

If you need help finding a new nail technician please let me know and I will help you transition.

Thank you,

Kimberly

For my clients;

My apologies for not posting sooner. I've been feeling unwell on and off for a while now. After a week or so of chest pain and consistent symptoms Sunday evening, January 7th, I began to feel off. I wasn't feeling well throughout the night. When I woke up Monday morning, my vision had become dark and blurry. I felt weak and nauseous, among other things. The left side of my face and body was tingling. After using the restroom, I passed out on my bathroom floor. When I woke up, my left side was weak, and I was having difficulties walking. The left side of my face was drooping. I was admitted for one night in the ER. Long story short, they sent me home because they didn't have a neurologist or cardiologist on staff. I was diagnosed with a hemaplegic migraine. I'm still dealing with some of the symptoms. However, I'm feeling much better than I was. I'm still waiting to see a neurologist, as I've been told they are backed up 2 to 3 months. It has been about one week since I've had a fainting spell, however I am still not driving or doing any heavy lifting as I'm still having visual changes, some dizziness on and off, and weakness. Since this is not the first time this has happened, it is best at this time for me to continue to rest until I see the neurologist. As much as I would love to return to work, Joanna and I both feel that it is best that I do not return at this time, at least until we get some answers.

We are currently looking for someone to take care of you all. It breaks my heart to take so much time away. However, it wouldn't be fair or safe to you or me if I continued to work in this condition.

Thank you to those who have been loyal clients. I appreciate you and miss you all. Please continue to pray for complete healing. I do not know at this time what the future holds for me as a nail technician. I am praying for guidance and that the Lord will bring someone to Nova Vita who can take care of you all.

Licensed and Ready to go!

My dedication and passion to being the best nail technician possible can be seen in my growth and my work. I want to learn as much as I can so that I can safely work on any individual and be able to refer clients to the proper professionals for services out of my scope of practice as a nail technician, M-ANT, and eventually MNT.

My goal is to be able to provide a higher standard of care for my clients and to be able to service clients who normally wouldn't go to a nail technician in fear of infection. My mission is to further my education and succeed in educating my clients and eventually become an instructor to educate other professionals.

I will be working at LV Nail Bar in Johnson City, TN as a Licensed Nail Technician while I complete my education. I promise to provide the best nail care possible with the knowledge I have and with the tools I am given.
