STRAIGHT BEAST MODE!!💪🏻
I would like to give Shawn Myers Jr a huge shoutout for not giving up!! Shawn at the Forest had the banners entangled into his rear wheel after the first turn. With the support of all his crew and everyone who chipped in. They took the rear wheel off, cut all the banner out and mounted the back wheel on. When they finally mounted his wheel back on first place rider just came through and finished lap one. Shawn jumped on his bike and took off. I said to my wife you’re gonna see something great happen today, he’s gonna pull a James Stewart and go out and pass over 200 riders. Boy was I wrong. By the end of the race, Shawn passed over 242 riders and took 108th out of 350. Talk about impressive!!! Here is a quick video of Shawn picking off one rider after another with the “it ain’t over till is over” attitude.

Those sneaky photographers at the races. The talented Desiree Aliza Photography caught me off guard waiting for the race to start and I looked over and yep there is a camera pointing right at me. I love it! But look how much dust is on my shirt👀 couldn’t avoid it if you tried. That’s why the video rig was covered during the starts. But thanks Desiree these turned out awesome!

My first time watching the the annual Barbie Jeep Downhill race let alone filming it, and it did not disappoint. This is what I love about the AWRCS Racing series is they always have something fun for everyone after the races. Steve and all his staff were working double time getting the hill graded and all the riders back up the hill. Check out this awesome event!! This will definitely put a smile on your face.
