🍕 Travel Stories with Christina – Buddy’s Union Villa, North Easton MA 🍺

If you love pizza, Buddy’s Union Villa in North Easton, Massachusetts is an absolute must-stop. Established in 1975, it’s Easton’s oldest grill and bar and a true local classic. 🍻

They’re famous for their Buddy’s Laced Pizza – extra cheese and extra sauce that bake right to the edge, creating this caramelized, crispy ring of deliciousness all the way around the pan. Every bite is crunchy, cheesy heaven wrapped around the pizza. 🔥🧀

This place has that cozy, old-school bar vibe, friendly locals, and seriously the best pizza in Massachusetts in my book. If you’re traveling anywhere near North Easton, put this on your food adventure list! 📍✨

✨ Travel Stories with Christina – SoWa Vintage Holiday Market, Boston MA ✨

Just visited the SoWa Vintage Holiday Market in Boston and it was such a vibe! 🎄🛍️

It was decorated beautifully with all sorts of tinkling, twinkling lights everywhere – total holiday magic. ✨🎅🌟

It’s an indoor market with tons of vendors – vintage finds, handmade gifts, unique decor, plus little cocktail vendors, hot chocolate bars, and food options to keep you going. 🍸☕🧁

✅ Cost: $10 per person to get in
🚗 Parking: You’ll definitely need to pay to park somewhere nearby, so be prepared for that.

We even brought the puppies for an adventure in their new carriage 🐶🍼 Dakota and Luna brought so many smiles – people kept stopping us to take photos and pet the pups. They were little celebrities! 📸💖

🔥 Heads up: It was very, VERY packed. If you don’t like crowds, this one might not be for you. But if you love the hustle, holiday energy, and treasure hunting through vendors, you’ll have a blast! 🎁❤️

🎨🚪 The Doors of Santorini 📸💙

Fun photo-shoot moment with friends—every turn up the mountaintop village revealed another washed, painted door in the most stunning colors.

Cobalt blues, sun-faded pastels, weathered textures… a backdrop begging for smiles and snapshots.

We laughed, wandered the cobblestone lanes, and soaked up all the beauty.

This is what travel is about: having fun, laughing, and taking a ton of photos.

A total photographer’s dream! 🇬🇷✨

Santorini, you were pure adventure. 🇬🇷💙
We started by wandering Oia’s beautiful stone lanes—white walls, blue domes, tiny chapels, and yes…cats everywhere keeping us company.

👣⛪🐾 Then we climbed to a monastery/church lookout for those endless caldera views and had cliffside lunch overlooking the volcano—pinch-me moments. 🌋🥗✨

Next up was an organic wine tasting at a local farm—volcanic-soil wines with that crisp island character. 🍷🌿

We drove the island for more views, out to the lighthouse on the tip for sea-to-sky panoramas at golden hour. 🌅

Finally, we ended on a black-sand beach at the Buddha spot to see the big statue and soak in those laid-back beats. 🖤🏖️

If you’re dreaming up a Santorini day:
• Walk Oia early/late for cooler temps & softer light.
• Comfy shoes—it’s cobblestones and stairs.
• Book a cliff table for that volcano view lunch.
• Leave time to drive out to the lighthouse and a black-sand beach finish.

Every turn felt like a postcard—more than worth the steps. 💫

🇬🇷 Crete — Agios Nikolaos Port Day (Oct 20) was a vibe!

We turned our day into an olive-oil + wine + village adventure with our group of 8—and traveling together made it extra fun (laughs, shared plates, and zero stress with a private driver). I’ll be honest: I loved Chania a bit more, but Agios Nikolaos still delivered a beautiful day. 🫒🍷🏘️

Highlights we loved:
🫒 Olive oil farm tour & tastings (plus raki, honey, herbs!)
🏘️ Kritsa village stroll—artisan shops & a quick coffee stop
🍽️ Mountain taverna lunch—grilled goodness & dakos
🍷 Lyrarakis Winery—vineyard views + tastings
🏛️ Heraklion hour—Lions Square, bougatsa pastry, Venetian Loggia pics
🌅 Mirabello Bay sunset views on the ride back

Group travel in Crete = easy, delicious, and full of scenery—10/10 memories. 💙

London, England gave me NYC energy x 10—the city truly doesn’t sleep! 🇬🇧✨

We stayed in lively Soho (food everywhere!) and walked to everything: Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, and all along the South Bank from Big Ben to London Bridge. 🌃🚶‍♀️🎡

Visiting hidden bars, unique markets and so much more!

The hottest trend? Those lit-up pedicabs blasting music—kids were living their best life making their tiktoks! 🎶🚲

We ended with a Thames River cruise and it felt like stepping into royalty—

London, you were wild and wonderful. 💂‍♀️🏰💫

Cascais, Portugal turned our 22-hour layover into a little slice of magic. 🇵🇹✨

We checked into a beautiful room overlooking the sea 🌊, then wandered the streets soaking in the local flavor. Found a cozy cove where locals played music—sipped a sangria and just soaked up the moment 🎶🍷.

Deb was in heaven with her Portuguese dishes (clean plates, happy heart!) 🍽️😍

The seaside fortress lit up at night and the whole town felt electric—something truly special in the air. 🌅🏰💫

Ephesus, Turkey stole my heart today! 🇹🇷✨
We spent 11 hours soaking up culture—starting portside at the bazaar where the colors and aromas of the spice stalls were unreal 🌶️🧿

The highlight was Mary’s House—it’s said the Virgin Mary spent her last days there. Walking through the olive trees felt so peaceful 🫒🕊️ and we even brought home holy water from her well 💧.

We watched master artisans show how silk is drawn from silkworm cocoons and woven into gorgeous rugs 🧶🧵—true craftsmanship!

Then we finished at a family-run hammam for the most authentic, soul-soothing experience 🛁💆‍♀️ What an unforgettable day in Turkey—grateful for every moment. 🤍

🌞 Syros, Greece Adventures 🇬🇷

This was definitely one of my favorite islands to explore 💙. The climb through Ano Syros — the little hilltop village — was magical 🏘️. Narrow winding streets, cats everywhere 😺, and the smell of fresh stone and sunshine. The streets were so clean, but sadly some beautiful old buildings were covered in graffiti 🎨💔.

We paused to watch older men carefully rebuilding a stone wall by hand 🧱💪 — every rock placed with such pride. It was beautiful and a little sad to think how easily that hard work could be ruined with a single spray can.

At the top, the view from the church ⛪ was absolutely breathtaking — the Aegean Sea stretched endlessly below 🌊.

What’s unique about Syros is its architecture — neoclassical and elegant, so different from the whitewashed, blue-domed look of Santorini or Mykonos 🏛️✨.

If you visit, stay at least a couple of days so you can explore both sides of the island — from the charm of Ano Syros to the beaches and coastal villages on the other side 🏖️☀️.
