Just a heads up...Saturday, September 24 is Homecoming and yes we will have a Journalism/MCOM/CMMA reunion, this year, honoring Rick Lorenc and Terre Rosner.

Students and Parents, make plans to attend our "So you've got a comm degree...now what?" panel discussion on March 24 at 5:30. So you've got a comm degree...now what?

We will be live, in the Turk theater and virtual, via zoom. Any student interested in communication, as a major, should attend this free event. Parents, current students and alumni are welcome, too.

Still working on the final wording for the Rick Lorenc Farewell Tour T-Shirt....but, in case you or someone you know is interested, circle March 24, 2022 on your calendar. It's the annual "So you've got a Comm degree...Now what?" panel discussion that features 3 or 4 MCOM/CMMA alumni talking about their career paths, so far. Right now, the plan is to be live AND streaming....but you never know.

I've started working on the panelists but if you want to volunteer, let me know. Let's hope 2022 is a little brighter than 2021.

We all had a wonderful time at the Journalism/MCOM/CMMA reunion last Saturday night. And, in case you weren't there, we debuted a Rick Lorenc "Farewell Tour" T-shirt that we will be selling as part of an effort to create a Comm scholarship in Rick's Name, here at USF. More details to follow once I figure things out.

The CMMA/MCOM/Journ reunion is still on! Because it will probably be raining most of Saturday we have moved our reunion indoors to the Turk Theater. Covid Protocols will be followed…..you’ll need to show proof of vaccination or a recent negative Covid test. If the weather permits we may be able to spread out to the quad but, for now, we will be in the Turk Theater.

Homecoming weekend we WILL have an in-person reunion! October 2, 5-7pm. It won't be on the 4th floor. Because COVID - It will be in the pavilion on campus, weather permitting. Hors d'oeuvres, cash bar, fun and frivolity. Come say hello/goodbye to your two, favorite, retiring faculty members....and me and Scott, too.
