Every week, we’re spotlighting a standout staff member from one of our schools. This series is our way of showing the community who we are and celebrating the amazing people behind our schools!

Meet Kimberly Shows, our incredible High School Math Teacher and Sr. Beta Sponsor at Weston High! With 18 years in education and 14 years serving Jackson Parish Schools, Kimberly has dedicated her career to helping students grow academically and personally.

Kimberly credits her high school English teacher, Ellen McPherson, for shaping her work ethic, confidence, and approach to challenges—lessons she now pours back into her own students each day.

Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, Anna Claire, her husband, Michael, and loves running and reading in her spare time.
