Okay, I want to know how you travel.

Your flight lands at 10:00 AM, but hotel check-in isn't until 4:00.

What are you doing?

A. Drop the luggage and immediately start exploring.

B. Find somewhere fabulous for lunch.

C. Sit in the lobby looking pitiful and hoping they'll take mercy on me.

D. I already emailed the hotel three weeks ago asking about early check-in. 😂

E. This situation would never happen because I specifically chose my flight around check-in time.

I'm somewhere between A and D.

🇧🇪 **DESTINATION SPOTLIGHT: BRUGES**

If your idea of Europe involves cobblestone streets, canals, medieval buildings, little cafés and entirely too much chocolate...we need to talk about Bruges.

This little Belgian city looks like someone designed it specifically for people who want to wander around pretending they're in a storybook.

You can cruise the canals.

Climb the Belfry for views over the city.

Walk through Markt Square.

Stop for Belgian waffles because obviously that's necessary.

Try approximately 47 different chocolates in the name of cultural research. 😂

And one of the things I love most about Bruges?

You don't need a week here.

It can easily be worked into a larger European itinerary, especially if you're already visiting places like London, Paris, Brussels or Amsterdam.

Sometimes the smaller stops end up being the places you remember most.

**Would Bruges make your Europe list? 🇧🇪**

Something I've learned since becoming a travel advisor:

There is a LOT of work involved in making someone else's vacation feel effortless.

And that's kind of the point.

The emails.

The research.

The comparing.

The checking flight schedules.

The reading cancellation policies.

The figuring out whether the “amazing location” is actually amazing.

The double-checking dates because apparently I no longer trust my own eyeballs. 😂

Most of that happens quietly behind the scenes.

Then my client gets to open an email and see:

“Here are the options I recommend.”

That's one of my favorite parts of this job.

Turning 47 open browser tabs into something that actually makes sense. 😂

You get a FREE 5-night trip tomorrow.

There's just one catch:

You have to choose your destination based ONLY on the view from your room.

Which are you picking?

A. 🌊 Balcony overlooking the Mediterranean
B. 🏔️ Swiss Alps outside your window
C. 🌴 Overwater bungalow in the South Pacific
D. 🏙️ Paris rooftops with the Eiffel Tower in the distance
E. 🌲 Cozy lodge surrounded by mountains and pine trees

I'm having a very hard time choosing between C and E.

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make when choosing a vacation?

They start with the HOTEL.

“I found this gorgeous resort!”

Okay...but is it in the right location for what you actually want to do?

Is the beach swimmable?

How far is it from the airport?

Are you going to spend half your vacation sitting in transportation?

Is the surrounding area somewhere you'll actually enjoy?

A beautiful hotel can still be the wrong hotel.

When I'm researching a trip, I'm not just looking for the prettiest room.

I'm looking at the whole experience.

Because you aren't traveling to stare at your hotel listing.

You're traveling to enjoy your vacation. 😉

Anybody else officially OVER summer? 🥵😂

Because after this heat, crisp mountain air, snow-capped peaks, glaciers and needing a jacket actually sound pretty amazing right about now. ❄️🏔️

Just putting this out there…

I still have some space available on my September 2027 Alaska cruise! 🚢

✨ 7-Day Alaska Inside Passage
🏔️ Scenic cruising through Glacier Bay National Park
📍 Juneau • Skagway • Ketchikan • Victoria
🚢 Roundtrip from Seattle
📅 September 4, 2027
🌊 Princess Cruises

And because Alaska deserves a balcony…

**Balcony staterooms start at $4,098 total for TWO guests.**

Only **$250 per person** to reserve your spot, and final payment isn't due until June 1, 2027.

So while you're standing outside wondering why the air hurts your face…just picture yourself on a balcony in Alaska saying, “Ooooh, I need a jacket.” 😂

Suddenly sounds pretty good, doesn't it?

Plot twist: I don’t just *sell* Greece… I study it. 🇬🇷✨

Another masterclass officially COMPLETE — and this one has me ready to pack my own suitcase. 😂

I’ve officially earned my **Greece Masterclass Certificate**, adding even more destination knowledge to my travel-planning toolbox. Because when you trust me with a trip like Greece, I want to know more than which hotels have pretty views.

I want to know how to help you decide **Athens or the islands first? Santorini or somewhere less expected? Ferry or flight? Where should you splurge? Where can you save? And how do we make the whole trip actually flow?**

The internet can give you approximately 47,382 opinions.

My job is to help you figure out which ones actually make sense for **your** trip. 😉

So… who has Greece sitting on their bucket list? 🇬🇷

Because I may have a brand-new certificate that needs to be put to work. 👀✈️

I think I need a vacation where absolutely nothing is expected of me.

No alarm.

No itinerary.

No “we need to leave by 7:15 if we want to beat the crowds.”

No trying to see 14 things in 6 days because we came all this way.

Just give me a beautiful view, somewhere good to eat, a comfortable bed and maybe a pool or beach where I can stare into the distance for an unreasonable amount of time. 😂

And this is coming from someone who LOVES planning trips.

What kind of vacation does your current level of tired require?

🏖️ Beach
🏔️ Mountains
🚢 Cruise
🏡 Cozy cabin
🌍 Take me somewhere far, far away

😴✈️ Would You Travel… Just to SLEEP?

One of the growing travel trends is sleep tourism — and yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like.

Instead of coming home from vacation needing a vacation, travelers are booking trips specifically designed around rest, relaxation, and better sleep.

Think…

🌿 Quiet, peaceful destinations
🛏️ Luxury beds & pillow menus
💆‍♀️ Spa treatments and massages
🌙 Sleep-focused wellness programs
🧘 Slow mornings with absolutely nowhere to be
📵 Less sightseeing, fewer schedules & more unplugging

Basically, the goal isn’t to see everything.

It’s to come home actually feeling RESTED. 🙌

And considering how exhausted most of us are these days…I can definitely see why this is becoming a thing. 😂

So I have to know…

Would YOU book a “sleepcation”? 😴

❤️ YES — sign me up!
😂 Nope — I’m not paying to sleep on vacation!
🤔 Maybe…if the resort was amazing.

Tell me below! 👇

“Someday we're going to take the kids.”

“Someday we're going to Europe.”

“Someday we'll finally take that anniversary trip.”

“Someday we'll see Alaska.”

I hear versions of this all the time.

And I understand it.

Life is busy. Travel costs money. There is always something else that needs our attention.

But one of the things travel has taught me is that seasons don't wait for us.

Kids grow.

Parents get older.

Life changes.

And the trip doesn't have to happen tomorrow.

Sometimes the first step is simply deciding:

We're actually going to do this.

Then you choose a realistic timeframe.

You figure out what it might cost.

You make a plan.

And little by little, “someday” gets a date. ❤️

That's one of my favorite parts of what I get to do.
