I’m seriously thinking about closing the doors on Save It Again
This isnt a prank. This isn’t a joke. I’m dead serious.
In a nutshell, the works a lot harder than it was so it’s not quite as much fun as it used to be, but I still enjoy It most days
Honestly, the thing I struggle with the most is trying to keep my cost as affordable as possible, which I think I’ve done a good job over the past 15 years But my cost are increasing and it’s just harder to reach new clients
I can make cold calls and hand out business cards, but that takes me away from the studio or I can advertise, but that cost more money too
There is a third option and it’s actually my preferred choice for me to reach more prospects and more clients new clients
But I need your help to make the third option work I need lots of you lots and lots of you to SHARE my post. Lots of you like my post hundreds of you hundreds and hundreds but ONLY A FEW OF YOU SHARE my posts. Likes are great, but they don’t help me reach new clients if I’m being honest.
Also, the vast majority of you tell me the reason that you chose to let me work for your family and digitize your family’s memories is because you saw a post or comment from a client that I had done work for that you knew or were familiar with Those post. You’re mentioning me. You writing a review. Those are the life blood of my business.
I have about 600 reviews which I’m really grateful for that’s a great number but there’s easily another 2000-3000 Clients who Ive asked to write a review and many of you said you would. But as we know life happens we get busy. We get distracted and after a while you just forget
I totally understand that totally But each month when I pay $160 a month (almost $2000 a year) for your cloud access and that access is increasing about $10 a month so in a year that cost will be close to $300 a month ( approaching $4000 a year) as that cost increases. I have to figure out a way to offset that cost or I have to pass it along to you or I’ll have to discontinue that feature
I think for the vast majority of folks, they view their memories and photos through their smart device via the cloud so I do not want to discontinue that service and would rather not charge for that service
So I’m asking you please take a second and reread my post and if it touches your heart wont you please share my posts in the future ) and if you haven’t done, so please write a review or tag me In a post encouraging your friends to contact me so they too can enjoy their family’s memories
