🐚 Coraline Dining Set 🦀

Table was stripped, sanded, and stained with Dixie Belle voo-do gel stain in Au Naturel. Then sealed with 3 coats of polycrylic for durability.

Chairs were sanded and then primed with 2 coats of Dixie Belle Bond Boss. Then they were painted with 2 coats of Dixie Belle silk mineral paint in Cape Current.

*This set is for sale for $285. Pick up in Carthage.

Will come with some paint for the chairs to make touch ups if needed at some point.

Our second flip! This is the nightstand in our kids’ room. My plan was to strip and restain the top and paint the body, but since it was not real wood we had to paint the whole thing. It got a good cleaning, scuff sanding and then primed with Dixie Belle bond boss, followed by Dixie Belle Silk mineral paint in Cape Current. I am in love with this color! New sea turtle drawer pulls and it just looks adorable! What do you think?

A week ago we attempted to start seeds for our very first time. Well actually, the 3rd time. We tried twice last year in peat cups in the window sills, but the cats loved knocking them down so I gave up and don’t really count that since they didn’t make it even a full day! 😆

Anyway, this time we chose seed starting trays and got a grow light and set it up on a shelving system.

I’m happy to report that almost all 144 cells have sprouts in them!

We have romas, cherry tomatoes, and beefsteaks. My plan is to have the cherrys and the beefsteaks to enjoy fresh thru the summer and to use the romas for canning spaghetti and pizza sauce, salsa, and paste!

Looking forward to learning how to can in the near future as well!
