✨ Big news! ✨

I’m so excited to share that I’ve officially joined the team at Cirque de Vol in Raleigh, NC! After making the move from Missouri, I’m stepping into a new role as an aerial coach for their pre-professional performance program Pa’Volar and as a show director.

Cirque de Vol has already made me feel so welcome, and I can’t wait to connect with new students, collaborators, and fellow movement artists here in North Carolina. Whether you’re brand new to aerial or a seasoned performer, I’d love to move and create with you. Let’s fly!

✨ Meet Lyndsey! ✨

We are so excited to give a warm welcome to Lyndsey Bowen, who has recently moved to North Carolina from Missouri! With over a decade of experience as an aerialist, choreographer, and director, Lyndsey brings a wealth of knowledge in both performance and production.

Her impressive background includes work with renowned companies like Paper Doll Militia, Quixotic Cirque Nouveau, and Lonestar Circus. As a Born to Fly certified aerial instructor, she has been sharing her passion for aerial arts since 2013, specializing in choreography that blends technical skill with artistic expression.

We’re thrilled to have her as part of our team and can’t wait for you all to experience her incredible expertise!

About: Double the aerialists, double the fun!

Bring your favorite aerial buddy or come meet a new one, and explore the art of partner work on our favorite circular apparatus. This workshop will focus on mounting and dismounting with a partner, mirrored tricks, partner balance, and unique shapes and transitions specially designed to work for two. Whether this is your first time on a hoop or you’re a master on the lyra, you’ll leave with an entirely new way to utilize the apparatus and develop your skills of partner practice and performance.

Prerequisites: ability to mount and sit up on the lyra without assistance.

Not required: the ability to shape yourself in to a pretzel, or previous doubles experience. You do not need to bring a partner 🙂

Welp! I hope your holiday season has been better than mine! I spent most of it zonked out with a gnarly cold🤧 But I'm finally feeling human again🫠

2024 classes start tomorrow, and I can't wait to get back into the swing of things! Looking forward to revisiting this Pegasus sequence my level 2 girls were working on before break🦄
