It’s hard to beat the thrill of fishing with a minnow suspended under a float. We don’t catch many big ones like this but we sure do catch a lot! Plenty of largemouth, crappie, and mega bluegill were hauled in! Plus a bonus turtle 🐢

Got some serious work done on the kayak this week thanks to my painter / problem solver / electrician / technician / damn good buddy Kyle Melville.

We got it all rigged up with nav lights, interior lights, and a sweet 360* LED in the back. Added a 5 gang switch panel to control everything, and installed some magnetic strips on the rod rack to secure my knives, pliers, phone, or whatever else I feel like sticking to it.

We plan on putting everything to the test tomorrow at about 4:00 in the morning. Stick around, I should have some pretty cool pictures / videos coming 👀

Well guys I done messed up and dropped my phone in about 18' of water yesterday. I learned my lesson this time and I will have my phone tethered at all times while I am on the Kayak. On the bright side, I caught a really cool piebald blue cat right before I lost my phone. Should have some pictures / videos up by tomorrow.

We put a hurtin’ on the white bass and blue cats. Just couldn’t get a big fish. Tomorrow I’ll be out on the kayak so hopefully the big ones come out to play!
