We understand that many individuals and families are facing uncertainty as they work to determine what comes next, and we want our community to know that you are not alone.

🐾 Assistance for Pets:
If you were affected by the fire and have pets, the Junction City Animal Shelter is willing to assist with temporary shelter for your animals while housing arrangements are being made. If your hotel does not allow pets, or you are temporarily staying with friends or family who cannot accommodate them, please know that help is available.

🚒 We would also like to extend a sincere THANK YOU to the Grandview Plaza KS Fire Department, Geary County Rural Fire Dept, Junction City KS Fire Department, Fort Riley fire department, Red Cross, law enforcement, emergency personnel, volunteers, and everyone else who responded and worked together to control the fire and keep our residents safe.
