Cade is just 4 years old, but he’s already facing a challenge no child should. He was born with an ultra-rare genetic disease called SPG50. Without treatment, it will slowly take away his ability to walk, talk, and play.

The hope? A breakthrough gene therapy that can stop the disease but funding is urgently needed to make it happen.

The medicine exists. The only barrier is access. Together, our community can help Cade get the treatment he needs.

Meet Cade. At just 4 years old, he’s the happiest little boy, bringing joy to everyone around him. But Cade was recently diagnosed with an ultra-rare genetic disease called AP4 Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (SPG50). Without treatment, this degenerative condition will take away his motor and cognitive abilities.

The good news: a gene therapy treatment already exists. The challenge: funding is needed to get Cade — and other children with SPG50 — into clinical trials as soon as possible.
