In our home of Southeast Alaska muskegs are a favorite landscape of this collection of wet sponges. It’s one of the best feelings, walking through the deep green and shade of the trees and then breaking through into the light-filled space of a muskeg, full of Labrador tea, cranberries, cloud berries, with gentle mossy mounds *perfect* for sunny mid-hike/hunt naps.
