Hiking through 30 mph winds in Iceland 😮‍💨⛈️ 

Some of the best views are the hardest to get to, which is the case for one of our favorite hiking trails here in Iceland! From the start of the trailhead to the first glacier view, you battle slippery gravel, steep terrain, and winds that knock you over 🌬️

Thankfully, we’ve been wearing the Columbia Sportswear Titanium hiking collection this entire summer and it’s been an absolute game changer for all types of terrain and fast changing conditions — especially in a country with the most unpredictable weather 👀

The Whistler Peak Shell Jackets with OutDry Extreme technology kept us bone dry and were PERFECT for Iceland as we battled the wind, rain, and of course, endless waterfalls. 💦

2023 vs. 2026 hiking on a glacier 🤯⛏️

This was our second time hiking in Vatnajökull National Park and it’s one of our favorite glacier treks! Such beautiful views that change everyday. We booked with (5 hour hike) both times and would absolutely do it again 🧊

This has to be on your Iceland bucket list!
