Bend, Oregon, a city I grew up quite near, endured a terrible tragedy today as an active shooter attacked yet another school. My heart is broken over this. Please call out to the Lord on behalf of the victims and their families. You can read more details now on The Believer's Byline.

BEND, OREGON — It is with a heavy and broken heart that I must share the news of yet another school shooting in our nation, and this time, it was uncomfortably close to home. At 12:59 p.m. on Thursday, October 15, Deschutes County received a 911 call from a person reporting an attack involving som...

Jupiter, Florida area friends - This weekend, I took my Christian fantasy novel, Staranana, on a little adventure of its own!

As a local author, I wanted to do something special to share my book with readers right here in our community. So, I spent the weekend placing copies of Staranana in Little Free Libraries all around town. I also donated a copy to the Military Trail branch of the Palm Beach County Library.

If you live near a Little Free Library in town, I hope you will take the chance to check out my novel.

Staranana is a Christian fantasy adventure filled with imagination, unforgettable characters, and a message of faith. My hope is that my books will entertain readers, encourage their hearts, and ultimately bring glory to the Lord.

If you find a copy, I hope you enjoy the adventure! And when you’re finished, pass it along so someone else can discover the world of Staranana, too. If you enjoy the book, I’d be grateful if you’d leave a review using the QR code in the back! And please drop a comment here to let me know you read it.

If you don’t find it in a library, don’t worry - you can also find it at: https://link.amazon/B0dVBCSnj

Happy reading, Jupiter! The adventure awaits!

Would you be willing to lay down your life for the sake of the Gospel? I recently had the opportunity to ask this question of my students as we studied the life and death of missionary Jim Elliot. Our studies led to some very interesting and Gospel-centric conversations which you can read about now on The Believer's Byline.

JUPITER, FLORIDA — Would you be willing to give your life for the sake of the Gospel? This was a question I posed recently to my seventh-grade Bible class. This school year, I have been given the privilege of teaching seventh-grade Bible. I am no stranger to teaching seventh grade. I taught sevent...

Another exciting cover update! This time for my novel Chronicles of the Imagination: The Noble Dragons! This book is especially important to me because it is dedicated to my grandmother, Betty Fields. She had the chance to read it only months before she passed away and she loved it! Getting to share it with her is a very special memory for me. I hope the new cover would have met with her approval as well. I am quite proud of it. The original cover was just an image I licensed from Shutter Stock. The new version, while yes it is AI assisted, took multiple days of prompt editing and rendering before it came out just right - and even then I did quite a bit of editing manually, so there is tons of my own work in the final product. If you have never had the chance to read my series Chronicles of the Imagination before - The Noble Dragons is a great place to start. This and the rest of the series is free for Kindle Unlimited subscribers.

LOVES PARK, Ill., July 27, 2026 /Christian Newswire/ — It would have been unimaginable in the communist era—a hundred young people in Belarus openly celebrating their Christian faith. But the recent youth gathering at an evangelical church in the ex-communist nation is just the tip of a swelling...

If you have never had the chance to read John Bunyan's Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners, I HIGHLY recommend it - especially if past sin causes you to doubt your own salvation. Bunyan was a man who reveled in sin in his early life and later struggled with many doubts even after being saved. Yet God used him, not only as a faithful pastor, but also as the author of the most influential Christian book of all time after the Bible, The Pilgrim's Progress. If God can bring out of a wretched sinner a work that has impacted the church for over 300 years, there is hope yet for each of us. You can read my review now on The Believer's Byline - and at the time of this post the Kindle book is free on Amazon. A link to the purchase page has been provided at the end on the review.

“…being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will continue to perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus” (Philippians 1:6 BSB) Recently, I had the opportunity to read the most incredible book! Some books inform the mind. Others encourage the heart. John Bunyan’s Grace Aboun...
