So naturally, he threw himself on the ground and made sand angels in protest.

Mr. Big Stuff has spoken. Beach time is NOT over. 🌊😂

Meanwhile, he spends ONE night with the pet sitter and Mom is home watching videos of him like he’s been gone for a month. 😂

Three little dogs had A LOT to say… 😂🐾

Bruce, all 80+ pounds of him, just laid down and took the lecture like a gentleman.

Apparently the bigger the dog, the less interested he is in arguing with management. 😂

Bruce found a hole in the sand bigger than he is and immediately decided it was the BEST THING EVER. 😂🌊🐾

Climbed in. Rolled around. Completely lost his mind. 😂

Apparently the beach knew exactly what the birthday boy wanted — his own Ridgeback-sized sandbox. 🎂😂

Happy 1st Birthday to our Bruce! 🤎🎂🐾

We survived the pterodactyl puppy stage 🦖😂 and now we’re bracing ourselves for adolescence.

Somewhere along the way, our little menace turned into the most incredible dog. He’s made best friends, brought people together, taken us on adventures and completely wrapped his family around those giant paws.

He’s given George a little brother he never asked for — and somehow convinced him to love him anyway. 😂🤎

Still stubborn, slightly feral and occasionally identifying as a Beach Horse 🐎… but underneath it all is the sweetest soul who loves his people

Somehow it feels like he’s always belonged right here with us. 🤎

Happy ONE, Brucie. We wouldn’t change a single crazy thing. 🎂🐾
