You know why I think I like sharks more than people sometimes? 😂

Sharks are honest.

You know exactly what you’re looking at.

They don’t hide behind a screen, pretend to be your friend, and then attack you because they didn’t like something you said.

A shark is basically:

“Hi. I’m a predator.”

Okay. Thanks for being honest. 😂🦈

And honestly, I respect that.

With sharks, what you see is what you get.

With humans… sometimes the real predator is hiding behind a profile picture.

So tell me honestly:

Would you rather face a predator that makes its intentions obvious…

or a human who smiles at you while hiding behind a keyboard? 😂🦈

I already know which one I’m choosing.

After spending hours underwater with sharks, I can tell you one thing most people don’t realize:

Sharks have personalities. 🦈

Some are bold and curious.

They’ll swim right up to you and check you out.

Others are more cautious. They hang back, watch what’s happening, and keep their distance.

And then you have everything in between.

Honestly, it reminds me a lot of people.

Some people walk into a room and immediately take over.

Others would rather sit back, watch, and figure everyone out first.

Sharks can be like that too.

Of course, their behavior can change depending on what’s happening around them, which sharks they’re with, their past experiences, and the situation.

But when you spend enough time watching the same shark, you start noticing patterns.

You start thinking…

“Oh, that’s just her.”

And that’s one of the things I love most about diving with sharks.

You’re not just watching a shark.

You’re getting to know an individual animal.

The more time I spend in the ocean, the more I realize how little sharks actually have to prove to us.

They’ve been here for hundreds of millions of years.

They’ve survived mass extinctions, massive changes in the oceans, shifting climates, and the disappearance of countless other species.

And yet somehow, after all that…people still made them the villain.

For decades, movies, and stories have taught us to see a shark and immediately think:

danger.‼️

But when you actually spend time in the water watching them, you start to see something different.

You see an animal that knows exactly where it is going.

Some sharks travel thousands of miles through open ocean and somehow navigate their way back.

They aren’t just swimming around randomly.

They are part of an incredibly complex ecosystem, and what they do affects everything around them. 🦈

And that’s what I respect most about sharks.

Don’t ever mess around with allowing bad energy in your life.

It’s better to take less money at work, or be alone in your personal life...
