I just went to grab some water with ice to donate to a local school and ended up chatting with the business owner, he surprised me with a few guavas, my favorite fruit of the season.

Moments like this are the perfect reminder that small businesses do more than keep our local economy strong they’re our neighbors, friends, and part of what makes our community feel like home.

Did you know JUSD is offering soccer as an intermural sport this year at its elementary schools? We're happy to partner with our community and provide soccer equipment for our young learners and help bring soccer to all our youth! Today, we dropped off equipment at Sunnyslope Elementary. This morning, I joined our local Jurupa Valley VFW Post 10267 for their 9/11 Annual Remembrance Ceremony 🇺🇸

It’s always powerful to stand alongside neighbors, veterans, and first responders as we honor the lives lost and the many who stepped forward to serve after that day.

Moments like these remind us that, no matter our differences, we can come together in gratitude, respect, and love for our community. ❤️🤍💙
