It's September 1st and not too early to let everyone know that the next festival coming up is the 28th Annual Hawaiian Slack Guitar Festival- Kona Style - scheduled for Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa. Lots of extraordinary talent for everyone's enjoyment including LT Smooth, Ben Kaili, John Keawe, Ikaika Marzo, Anthony Pfluke, Donald Kaulia, Darrtell Aquino, Danny & Nani Carvalho (Kailua Moon), Bobby Moderow, Kahiau Lam Ho, Walter Keale, and Brother Noland. Mahalo to everyone that came to the 43rd Annual Hawaiian Slack Key Guitar Festival - Waikiki Style! It was a beautiful evening of great music and poke bowls. For all of you that watched the Livestream I hope you enjoyed it. Next festival for us is on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at the Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Mark your calendars for next week Saturday, August 23rd from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM as we will be livestreaming the entire festival for your enjoyment. Flash News! Just in__the Outrigger Hotel and Resorts hospitality group has donated a one night stay certificate for a couple that is good for the Outrigger Kona Resort & Spa good for one year. All ticket holders at the Waikiki festival will be eligible for a drawing that will occur at 8:00 PM next Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the

We're just two weeks away from the Waikliki festival. Plan to be there with the Ohana. Admission is jus $20.00 for visitors $10.00 for Kamaaina And children 12 and under is free. A benefit for the Waikiki Aquarium to help with capital improvements. Join ujs for an evening of great music, food, snacks, and free prizes all night long. One of the wonderful things about Hawaii. Emceeing the Waikiki festival is none other than Hawaii News Now Morning Show host Billy V. Billy will be at the festival after doing his job at the UH vs. Stanford football game on the campus of the University of Hawaii. Come and support him and all of the artists that will be performing at the festival this year. Remember, it is a benefit for the Waikiki Aquarium. Look forward to seeing some of you there. Don't miss Walt Keale at the Waikiki festival with his soulful vocals and infectious playing along with some of his friends playing just for you. Walt is from a long line of Hawaiian musicians known for their music such as Moe Keale, Bill Keale, Michael Keale and Iz Kamakawiwaole. It will be a very entertaining evening for all who attend. Long time musician and more recently actor on Jason Mamoa's "Chief of War" Apple movie, Ocean Kaowili will be one of the featured artists at the Waikiki festival on August 23rd at the Waikiki Aquarium from 5pm - 9pm.
