Maui came out STRONG for the ENDLESS SUMMER CRUISE! 🌺🚘🔥

This past weekend, I had the chance to be part of an awesome Maui community event organized by one of the most genuine and generous guys I know, Braddah Brandon Harima from alohagoldbuyersmaui 🤙🏽

This wasn’t just about cars—it was about community, family, and giving back. The event raised funds to bless Maui families while bringing keiki, parents, car lovers, truck enthusiasts, and motorcycle riders together for one epic day.

From old-school classics to new-school builds, trucks, bikes, and everything in between, there was something for everybody! 🤙🏽🌴

And shoutout to the owner of that MONSTER truck for trusting me not to break it while I was scaling that thing! 😂💪🏽

Of course, gotta show love to Maui Fresh Streatery for taking care of me with all the grinds! 🌺🍴

This is the kind of Maui event I love being part of—good people, good food, cool rides, and giving back to our community. ❤️

What’s better than Foodland poke? DISCOUNTED Foodland poke! 🤙🏽🐟

Ever wonder what happens to the poke that’s left at the end of the day? At my local Foodland, they pack it up and mark it down—so you can score your favorite poke for less! 💰

It’s honestly like a treasure hunt going to the back of the store and seeing what kine poke you can find. And when I see that hamachi? GAME OVER. 🏆😂

Just one thing: make sure you get rice ready at home! Because having no rice is a rookie mistake, brah. 😭🍚

Looking for an affordable plate lunch on Maui that’ll actually fill you up? 🤙🏽🍗

Today I stopped by Minit Stop, and brah… they don’t mess around when it comes to quality AND quantity! Their fried chicken is easily some of the most delicious I’ve had on island. 🔥

My wife and I grabbed the Chili Chicken Combo and the Hurricane Katsu Plate—both came loaded with hefty scoops of rice and that thick, creamy mac salad. 😮‍💨

Fresh, filling, and full of local flavor. No wonder Minit Stop plate lunches get nonstop action! If you’re looking for local food in Maui, affordable eats, or ono grinds, put this spot on your list! 🌺

Looking for a local Maui breakfast spot with plenty of aloha and old-school comfort food? 🤙🏽🌺

All the way upcountry, we made our way to Grandma’s Coffee Shop in Keokea, a true mom-and-pop spot that’s been serving up local comfort food for over 40 years. The vintage feel and warm, home-style atmosphere really made it feel like you were sitting at your own grandma’s hale. 🏡❤️

We started with the warm, moist bread pudding, then went in on a big bowl of saimin loaded with char siu, Spam, ham, and eggs—talk about comfort food!

But if you’re gonna order one thing, make it the meatloaf loco moco. A thick cut of meatloaf smothered in onions and gravy, topped with a fried egg… broke da mouth! 🤌🏽🍳

And don’t sleep on the big pancake either. Perfect for sharing with the whole ʻohana—or keeping it all to yourself. 😂🥞

If you’re looking for where to eat in Maui, Upcountry Maui restaurants, local Hawaiian food, Maui breakfast, or hidden gems in Maui, put Grandma’s Coffee Shop on your list. Definitely felt like we were eating at Nana’s hale. 🌺

🤙🍗 You gotta check out Cluck & Crunch at Kau Kau Corner in Kahului. If chicken is your thing, this place going hit the spot.

The Sweet & Spicy Wings were absolute killers—crispy, juicy, and coated in one mean sauce. The Chicken Wrap comes packed with big-time flavor and their signature chicken sauce takes it to another level. But the real surprise? The Loaded Mac & Cheese. They no skimp on the chicken... it almost outnumbered the mac! 🌶️ The jalapeños give it the perfect kick, making every bite even better.

And don't leave without trying one of their drinks or desserts. The Brown Sugar Milk Tea was the perfect way to finish off one solid meal.

If you're in Maui trying to find a spot with solid matcha, First Wave Coffee is one place you gotta check out. ☕🍵 Jansen Opiana has people lining up in the Lowe's parking lot, and once you try it, you'll know why.

This time I actually came for the cinnamon rolls because they dropped an Oreo cinnamon roll special, and I couldn't pass that up. 🤯 Soft, loaded with flavor, and definitely worth the stop.

🤙🍣 If you're craving fresh sushi on the west side, you gotta put Japengo on your list.

Located inside the Hyatt Regency Maui, Japengo stay serving up some mean sushi. The nigiri was the real MVP—thick, fresh, juicy cuts of fish over a generous bed of rice. Every bite was ono.

But no make the mistake of only ordering sushi. 😮‍💨 The shrimp fried rice came loaded with big pieces of shrimp and gave me all the Kobe Steakhouse Front Street vibes. And if you're a garlic lover like me, the garlic noodles are one must-order. They never hold back on the garlic, and that's exactly how I like 'em.
