Check it out Wednesday night. Our Darde Gamayo aka “Tita Nui” & her husband are part of the program.

This month’s episode of Home is Here features the town of Honoka‘a, which sits along the Hāmākua Coast of the island of Hawai‘i.

Originally, our crew set out to do a single story on the Honokaʻa Heritage Center. After talking with staff members and residents, we immediately felt their love and sense of pride for their community and decided to expand the story.

Home is Here airs on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 7:30 p.m.
