Places you need to see in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰🌴🥥

🌴 Mirissa - a vibrant beach town with a beautiful coast line, palm trees, surfing, and stilt fishermen

🥥 Ella - Waterfalls, wildlife, greenery, the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, and adventure

🚂 Kandy - beautiful scenery including rice fields, the well-known train, and the Tooth Relic Temple

🪷 Colombo - the capital of Sri Lanka, city life, and stunning temples

🐘 Udawalawe National Park - one of the best places in the country to see elephants in the wild on safari as well as crocodiles, peacocks, deer, many exotic birds, and more

It’s funny when people who don’t know me are so quick to judge and say things like “must be nice to have rich parents”

In reality…. I work hard to do what I do. I work 3 jobs, I’m pretty frugal with my spending, I drive an old ass car, I moved back home to save, I am always educating myself how I can travel smarter (hello credit card rewards!), and I’m not actually traveling as often as it seems…

If you prioritize travel… you can make it happen too! You won’t have to have rich parents 🙃
