Who’s planning a trip to Oktoberfest this year?? 🍻🥨
Here are some things to know if this is your first time:
🍺 the weather can be unpredictable this time of year, so keep checking the weather because it can either be cold and rainy, or hot and sunny
🍺 traditional dirdnls (for women) and lederhosen (for men) are encouraged and most people wore them. Please avoid cheap Halloween costumes. They can be pricey, but you can save money by renting one. They are not required of course but definitely more fun that way!
🍺 bring cash for tips (euros) for the servers in the b**r halls - it is quite impressive how many b**rs they can carry at once and they work very hard
🍺 reservations aren’t necessary for tables in the b**r halls. Simply show up, find some space at a table and make some friends! Just be aware that weekends can be quite crowded- especially opening and closing weekends
🍺 there’s so much more than the b**r halls - it’s like a whole fair, there’s rides, vendors, souvenirs, and more within the festival
🍺 if you see people snorting white powder… it’s not what you think it is 🤭
🍺 don’t forget to stay hydrated! 💧
