It’s hard to describe that feeling when you just know someone’s a great fit.

Meet Zach Noonan, our newest Shooter + Editor here at Overneath! 🎥✂️
He’s immensely creative, technically sharp, and—most importantly—a wonderful human to have on set and in the office.

You’ll find Zach behind the camera, in the edit bay, or animating wild things in After Effects. He and fellow newcomer Reid are also teaming up to help launch our newest adventure: OnCall Content (👀 stay tuned).

So what is it that makes someone click?
Vibes? Pheromones? That ineffable connection between humans ?
Whatever it is… we felt it.
And we’re glad Zach is here.

Overneath is excited to welcome .dean to the team this summer as our newest intern!

Who is he? Oh, just a collegiate-level wrestler studying video at Harvard University… no big deal. Naturally, we’ve all challenged him to an officiated wrestling match to verify his credentials

You’ll see Doak on set with us this summer—hardworking, fast-learning, team-playing, and video-making (we didn’t mean to rhyme, but we’re going with it).

🎥 If you’ve been on a set in West Michigan in the last decade, chances are you already know: Reid Petro is the real deal.

From feature films to national campaigns to local shoots that punch way above their weight, Reid has been a staple of the regional film scene for years—and now (finally!), he’s part of the Overneath team.

After much haranguing, an arm wrestling match, best-of-three rock-paper-scissors, and a staring contest to the death… we can officially welcome Reid Petro as our newest Shooter/Editor.

Reid will be stepping in as DP on many of our shoots, an editor and colorist on others, and a key part of launching our newest service—OnCall Content (shhh… whisper whisper secret secret).

He’s kind, creative, positive, and brings exactly the energy you want in every project.

It’s hard to say goodbye—especially when someone has been such a vital, talented, and genuinely beloved part of your team for so long.

(And don’t worry… no one died.)

But we are saying a bittersweet farewell to our longtime Animator, Editor, and Videographer, Jeremy Davidson, who’s taken on an incredible new role outside of Overneath.

While we’re obviously sad to see him go, we couldn’t be prouder. Over the past four years, Jeremy helped take our motion graphics to new heights, edited some of our most impactful work, stepped into directing, and became a mentor and friend to the whole team.

In fact, his work here was so good, he didn’t even go looking for a new job—the new job came looking for him. And we think that says a lot: about Jeremy, about the work we’ve done together, and about the creative culture we’ve built here.

Jeremy will always be part of the Overneath family. We’ve been through a lot together, and we’ve seen him shine time and time again.

Join us in congratulating this tremendous human on an exciting new chapter. We’re going to miss him like crazy—but we can’t wait to see what he does next.
