Applications are open for the MCGA Frank Lipinski Scholarship! This scholarship is aimed at students who come from a non-agriculture backround. Frank was passionate about helping people from outside of agriculture enter the industry and he educated many young people on the career opportunities available in agriculture. Harvest 2023 is officially underway at Zeeland Farm Services, as we took in our first load of new crop soybeans this morning.
The beans were delivered by Trevor Tilford of McManus Transport, driving for Hoffman Ag Service of Marshall, Mich.
The moisture content was 12.3 percent. A great start.
As anticipated, harvest has been delayed just a bit this year. Last year, we received our first load on Sept. 16.
