This Friday at The Regent Theatre is the area premiere of our biggest documentary to date!

Fresh off winning Best Documentary at Hollywood Horrorfest, Jeanie's Face Exploded showcases Jeanie Brown Boshoven, who not only talks about her work on the original Dawn of the Dead but also some other avenues in her life and the incredible story therein. Come to the premiere and you will get to meet her in-person! She even has some great books that you can pick up.

Tickets are $5 at the door, with VIP tickets available that includes early admission, all 3 poster variants, a special VIP entry badge, and an exclusive pre-show Q&A with Jeanie.

We cannot wait to debut this locally, and we will see you there!

The short documentary tells the story of "Dawn of the Dead" makeup artist and actress Jeanie Jefferies, who disappeared from the film industry in 1981.

In 1978, she did makeup and appeared as the Blonde Zombie in the groundbreaking horror film, DAWN OF THE DEAD.

In 1981, she vanished from the industry.

It's time to hear her story- and you're invited to the premiere!

JEANIE'S FACE EXPLODED, the latest documentary from The Alamo Studio is premiering at The Regent Theatre on Friday, October 18th at 9:30 PM.

On a personal note, this project is probably my biggest to date. It was nominated for Best Film at the New Jersey Horror Con and (more to come) I am flying out to Hollywood next weekend to accept an award for it. I am so excited to get to do the official premiere right here in West Michigan, and so honored to be able to tell the amazing story of Jeanie Brown Boshoven.
