This is what we did when we had no kosher food left on an island in Bali. We weren’t planning to be here for the night, but we missed the boat. Thank G-D we had lots of jerky and Biltong with us, but nothing warm or hot when we travel we have this condition that we only have hot dinners for the kids so we kept our tradition alive with a late night hot snack Lev and Ariel fell asleep

while we travel, we can go to non kosher cafés and drink, espresso or black coffee, pacifically in Takeaway cups and we can also have water 😅

Honestly so healing for Mendel to experience this. He very often speaks about the guy from Vietnam, who hurled a lot of anti semetic insults at him and when I asked what the guy was saying as a three-year-old he responded he wants me to take off his Kippah. (he literally mentioned it to me tonight 😭). Such a 360 moment for him. I’m so glad for this man’s kindness to say something. Also a reminder that all humans are created in the image of G-d and we should always try and act that part. ❤️
