The biggest soccer tournament on the planet + a kid-approved hangout spot = the perfect summer watch party. ⚽🙌

We headed to SERV to catch the matches, and the thing that surprised me the most was that my husband and I actually got to relax. The kids disappeared into all the games, activities, and open space while we enjoyed the match, good food, drinks and a chance to sit down for a minute.

They had giveaways, games, a DJ, and popups for kids, like face painting! And all we paid for was food and drinks! You can’t beat that! 🤯

The food was amazing! I got gluten free street tacos, my husband got one of the most deluxe burgers I have ever seen, and my kids got pizza and sliders. Plus the drinks were delicious! I had to try a cocktail and a red card, a special cocktail in a bag to celebrate the global soccer event!

We arrived early to beat the crowd, and I’m so glad we did!

If you’re looking for a place to cheer on your favorite team without worrying about keeping the kids entertained every second, SERV delivers. So regardless of who takes the match, everybody wins. 🎉

6 Missouri towns, one awesome family road trip 😍❤️

My family and I explored these small Missouri towns and found everything from caves and covered bridges to Disney history and giant murals.

🚂 St. Joseph: Ride a historic carousel, see a real train inside the Patee House Museum, and visit the Re*****on Nature Center.

🏰 Marceline: Discover Walt Disney’s childhood at the Walt Disney Hometown Museum.

📚 Hannibal: Tour Mark Twain’s boyhood home, explore a cave, and stroll the charming riverfront downtown.

🌾 Pershing State Park: Walk a boardwalk through Missouri’s largest remaining wetland prairie and see a covered bridge.

🍞 Chillicothe: Visit the Home of Sliced Bread and hunt for giant murals throughout downtown.

🧵 Hamilton: Explore the Quilting Capital of the World, shop the adorable downtown, and add your own thread to the world’s largest spool of thread.

I can’t believe this entire road trip is in Missouri. 🤯

My family and I explored six small Missouri towns packed with history, hidden gems, and family fun.

🚂 St. Joseph: Ride a historic carousel, see a real train inside the Patee House Museum, and visit the Re*****on Nature Center.

🏰 Marceline: Discover Walt Disney’s childhood at the Walt Disney Hometown Museum.

📚 Hannibal: Explore Mark Twain’s boyhood home, wander the charming riverfront downtown, and the Mark Twain Cave

🌾 Pershing State Park: Walk a boardwalk through Missouri’s largest remaining wetland prairie and see a covered bridge

🍞 Chillicothe: The Home of Sliced Bread and home to some incredible downtown murals.

🧵 Hamilton: The Quilting Capital of the World, with cute shops, colorful murals, and the world’s largest spool of thread.

This road trip was the perfect mix of small-town charm, outdoor adventures, and unique attractions.

Need a fun (and budget-friendly 💸) family day in KC? Crown Center delivered! 🙌

🚍 We started at The Pigeon Comes to Kansas City! A Mo Willems Exhibit, where the kids climbed on the bus, launched hot dogs, and stepped into some of their favorite books. Bonus: it’s FREE! 🎉

😸 Next up was Pete the Cat at The Coterie Theatre, and it was so much fun! My kids loved the music, laughs, and and groovy vibes. (This is a ticketed event) 🎶✨

⚽ We also checked out the FREE giant soccer-themed displays and photo ops around Crown Center. If your kids are getting excited about all the international soccer action coming to KC, you’ll definitely want to snap a few pictures! 📸

Crown Center is one of my favorite spots for an easy family outing, especially this summer ❤️

This might be Missouri’s most underrated weekend getaway. 🤍

Hannibal is so much more than just the hometown of Mark Twain. My family and I spent a weekend exploring this charming river town and found the perfect mix of history, family fun, great food, and small-town charm.

✨ Explore the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum and learn about the author who created Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn
🦇 Venture underground at Mark Twain Cave
🌊 Take in Mississippi River views from Lovers Leap
⚓ Visit the lighthouse overlooking downtown
🚢 Watch the riverboats cruise by on the mighty Mississippi
🎨 Wander the artsy, walkable downtown filled with shops, murals, and historic buildings
🍕 Eat at The Brick Oven, Java Jive, First Bite, and Becky’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream Parlor
🏨 Stay at Best Western on the River, which is within walking distance of downtown and makes a great home base for exploring

If you’re looking for an easy Missouri road trip packed with history, river views, good food, and family-friendly fun, Hannibal deserves a spot on your list.
