The 3k mile Magenta 1997 Plymouth Neon Coupe

Back in March 2023, we brought this 1997 Plymouth Neon Coupe home from New Jersey, and it’s been an absolute gem ever since. Powered by a 2.0L SOHC engine and paired with a 5-speed manual, this was a true bare-bones, lightweight commuter—no power options besides steering and brakes.

This one-owner Neon, finished in Magenta, had just 2,846 miles when we picked it up. The original owner, a gentleman in his 80s, only drove it to church occasionally, but made sure to start and run it weekly to keep it in shape. He even had a factory wing still in the box, along with a Bulldog security system from the ’90s, also untouched in its packaging.

Since then, we’ve taken it to multiple Radwood events, showing off what might be the lowest mileage first-gen Neon out there. It now has 3,650 miles on it! Don’t ask why, but we absolutely love this car!
