Joe’s Kansas City has a new next-door neighbor!🔥

Joe’s Next Door is now open at 500 County Line Rd in KCK, directly across from the iconic original gas station location. The new spot keeps fan-favorite staples like the Z-Man and seasoned fries while adding a more diverse menu of food and cocktails, built for everything from a quick lunch to a date night around the fire pit.

Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, including Sundays. Dine-in only, no reservations, no online ordering. (for now)

Moon Bar is now open in Columbus Park. 🌖🥃

Kansas City’s first Japanese-style bartending bar can be found at 911 E. 5th St, offering an Asian-inspired menu of craft cocktails, small plates, mocktails, beers, spirits, and more.

Moon Bar is hosting a soft opening through May 23rd, and a grand opening on May 27th.

KC Daily Mail Club is hitting your mailbox in June with a KC Soccer theme. ⚽️ Every month, our subscribers receive a curated envelope filled with Kansas City goodness, based on a rotating theme. Here’s what you can expect:

Our next KC Daily Dinner Club is happening on Thursday, May 28th at 6:30pm in Downtown Overland Park.

Here’s how it works:

🤝 Get matched with 5 other Kansas Citians based on personality, interests, etc.

📍The six of you will meet for dinner on the 28th. Your restaurant will be revealed to you the morning of.

🍻After dinner, all groups are invited to a casual meet-up at a nearby bar to keep the party going! (optional)

Crossroads Flea is back for season 2! 🛍️

Inspired by the Brooklyn Flea, Crossroads Flea returns to 19th Street between Wyandotte and Baltimore right outside Mildred’s. It features local produce, makers, vintage finds, and brunch cocktails and snacks from Mildred’s. Free, family-friendly, and runs from 9am-2pm. Upcoming dates: 5/10, 6/14, 9/13, 10/11, 11/8.

The World Meets Kansas City in the Crossroads. 🌙

Presented in partnership with ArtGardenKC, the Night Market will transform the district into a walkable, illuminated festival to welcome visitors and showcase KC’s creative culture from June 12 through July 12.

Here’s what you can expect:

-200+ local makers and artists
-Culinary pop-ups from Crossroads restaurants
-Local vendors
-Live music
-Street performers
-Extended hours for art galleries

Vendor locations span West 18th and 19th Streets, Baltimore Street, Art Alley north of East 18th, and the MADE MOBB parking lot at 221 Southwest Blvd. The Night Market will be Fridays 5 to 11pm, Saturdays and Sundays noon to 11pm — across June 12-14, June 19-21, June 26-28, July 3-5, and July 10-12.
