Naesthetycs Quests Part 1: Printmaking!!

On this quest, we took a 3-week printmaking workshop and created a print based on our award-winning film: Something in the Water.

We printed a limited amount for our first batch, but should we print more?

Drop a comment 👇🏽 or send us a message 📥 if you’re interested in our original print “Zip Codes Should Not Determine Futures.”

Thank you to Milwaukee Water Commons for the opportunity to learn printmaking for free and amplifying our work.

Thank you to Greenwood Park Gallery and Framing for your services in framing our piece.

What up Cuz? 🤝🏽

At the July 2026 We Outside Health and Wellness Fair hosted by Metcalfe Park Community Bridges
we got to talk to our cousin, Tommie!

Tommie talked about how he practices health and wellness and the challenges of doing so.

With gas prices on the rise and living in a neighborhood without a grocery store, he has to go out of his way to access fresh food.

Making decisions to have food or gas in your car are not decisions anyone should have to make. We should not have to choose between one over the other.

That’s why We Outside!

The We Outside Health and Wellness Fair brings food and resources to the community, meeting neighbors where they are because WE keep us safe and WE keep us fed.

Missed this one? Join us for the next We Outside Health & Wellness Fair on August 28th.

So excited and proud of our founder Nateya Taylor for being selected for Kartemquin Films 2026 Diverse Voices in Docs “DVID” program 🥳 as she produces and directs her debut feature length documentary tentatively titled “14th” about food apartheid in Milwaukee!

Over the past year, at least 7 grocery stores have closed in Milwaukee County.

In the midst of it all…the community formed the Food Justice Collective and successfully advocated for AND passed a City and County level resolution to declare food apartheid a public health crisis…

Started a community fridge network and a food pantry to feed the community…

Advocated for AND passed a resolution for the establishment of a City-County Joint Task Force to address the food access crisis.

+ More!

And we not stopping there. Food justice and Food sovereignty are the goals.

So come be a part of the action and come get free this Saturday, July 11th, 10am-2pm

Check out our founder Nateya Taylor featured on PBS Milwaukee’s Black Nouveau speaking on her film about the late artist Muneer Bahauddeen.

“The Good Land | Muneer Bahauddeen: Vision” is Taylor’s first film she released under Naesthetycs Productions in 2023.

When she heard about the passing of Muneer earlier this year, she was saddened, but also felt honored to have known him and that she had the opportunity preserve his legacy through film.

This is part of our mission here at Naesthetycs, LLC to preserve cultural memory through storytelling. We are thankful this film is one of the many ways Muneer’s memory will live on.

Thank you Black Nouveau for having us and thank you Muneer for sharing your genius and creativity with the world. Rest in Power brotha ✊🏽
