I just learned what smokejumpers are.

My guest: “They do it for the love of the game.”

Me: “Brother, if that parachute doesn’t open on a Tuesday, the game is over.” 😂

This clip touches on the reality that although jiu-jitsu may not be meant for everybody, we also still believe every man should have something that pushes him physically, mentally, and emotionally. Men are built to exert energy, overcome obstacles, and pursue purpose. said , “We have to have battles to fight”. That battle looks different for everyone. Choose your battle.

This Memorial Day for anyone going through struggles behind closed doors. Keep showing up. Keep fighting. Be apart of a community.

Out Now!

Big thanks to my buddies & for coming on the podcast.

We got into work, life, trying to balance the two without completely losing your mind, the things we see in our careers that make us go “how is this still a thing?”, jiu-jitsu, politics and the ongoing dumpster fire that somehow keeps finding more gasoline every year. Oh yeah and allergies 😂.

Real conversations, real frustrations, real laughs.

Also… sorry for the delay on getting this episode out. I know it’s been some weeks since we recorded this. Audio settings have been beating my ass lately and I’m still working through them 🎙️😂 Appreciate everybody being patient.

Appreciate for coming on the show. We got into his background, from his youth to what led him into law enforcement, and how social media became a way to show the human side of policing, including some of the humor behind the badge.

We talked through where we agree, where we see things differently, and a lot of the realities we’re all watching play out today. Conversations like this are important, communication leads to understanding.

Thank you again for pulling up and sharing your perspective.

Not every job carries the same weight.
When your work directly affects people’s lives, doing the bare minimum isn’t just lazy, it’s dangerous. Some professions require more than skill. They require integrity.

At the same time, organizations also need to reflect on what is causing burnout in their employees. It isn’t always an individual failure. Systems, leadership, and workplace culture play a role too.

.92 created as a platform for real conversations to be had.

He lives that mission statement with every episode.

and I had the opportunity to hang with him last night (for the second time!) and as per usual, we talked about whatever we brought to the table…and whatever came up during the talk.

It feels good, no, it feels AWESOME to be alumni and “regulars” on this treasure of a podcast.

Encouraging everyone who has not checked out TBAP yet, to tap in and search for a previous talk that might interest you.

Also, thanks to for making it all run behind the scenes. The man of mystery! No laptop, no mic, no problem! 😂💯⚒️

If the people with the biggest platforms control the trends…
why does it always feel like they’re pushing division, negativity, and nonsense?

This hits our youth the hardest, but let’s be real… adults aren’t immune either. And don’t get it twisted, I’m not against fun meaningless content… but there’s gotta be some balance.

Why not use that same influence to build something better?
Smarter conversations, Real unity and Actual positivity.

Or is it easier to sell distractions than it is to change the world?
