At , Origin Dining starts before you sit down at the beautiful open-air table. You’re welcomed with a farm-made cocktail and a firsthand look at where your ingredients come from, right there on the property.

Wander the farm, say hi to the turkeys, pigs and chickens and walk the native prairie as the sun sets. Then gather around the table for a rotating seasonal menu of 3, 4 or 5 courses. Pair each course with a cocktail, or choose your own drink from the bar menu (alcoholic and NA options available). 🦃🍹🐖🌿

Kansas City’s very own historian and reenactor, Bill Nicks, takes groups on a tour of James Naismith’s life, visiting where he lived, where he’s buried, and sharing the scoop on the original rules of basketball and iconic Allen Fieldhouse.

June 1933: Federal agents are moving Frank “Jelly” Nash from a train to cars bound for Leavenworth. Gunfire breaks out in front of Union Station, and it becomes one of the most infamous moments in Kansas City history. 🔫🚂

💛 🐄 OBSESSED!! KC, allow me to introduce you to local KC artist, Gabby Torline, the visionary behind !! 💃🏼🌅

The minute I saw Gabby’s work, I just had to have a piece added to our local Kansas City art collection in our home! Gabby’s speciality is hand-painted skulls. Choose from the likes of cows, bison, whitetails and more, and check out her past work for inspiration on her wildly talented abilities!

Gabby grew up in Kansas, but her home away from home has always been Northeastern New Mexico, which has become one of her favorite points of inspiration for colorful artwork…🌻🌵

It’s one of the best hidden gems for sashimi and sushi rolls, and yet somehow I had NEVER been to Miyabi Japanese & Asian Bistro for lunch, realizing I’ve been missing out on their weekly Lunch Special!
