Our Story

Welcome to Gangsta Goodies Kitchen; a place where love, food and relationships go hand in hand. My name is Shelia, I was born, raised & currently reside in Kansas City, MO. When I was growing up my mama used the kitchen as a platform to not only teach me how to cook but, to communicate with me, encourage me and to speak knowledge & wisdom into my soul. Our mission in the Gangsta Goodies Kitchen is to help restore families...one meal at a time.

I have two beautiful daughters; Devan and Shalea. My daughters’ have always been my inspiration…they are the reason behind everything I do. And, like my mama I too use the kitchen as a tool…We love each other, we cook together and we’re looking forward to sharing this journey with each of you. Gangsta Goodies Kitchen is for everyone…together we will explore food from around the world, with easy to follow recipes and presentation ideas. We hope to ignite the Chef in each of YOU!
