This year, we have all had to find a new normal. Advocacy was not done face to face, but Historic Kansas City remained at the forefront of advocacy efforts to save the Katz Drug Store. The redevelopment plan was ultimately approved by the City Council.

To focus our advocacy initiatives and draw attention to their importance, we must have financial support to fund HKC’s efforts. Once a building is lost, we cannot get it back. We urge you to make a gift today to help ensure that HKC is prepared to take on future challenges.
