iver bottoms, a published songwriter and a touring musician, Gibson has emerged as a musical orator for those who have grown up on Ozark dirt forging his own roots-rock-americana style approach to Ozark music. Heavily influenced by his gritty guitar tone, alternate tunings, and vivid lyrical stories, his music is a true “hip-billy” experience, self-described as “American roots, meets Ozark dirt”. Currently based out of Kansas City, Gibson’s 4-CD Ozark Anthology music collection is available on all major streaming services. He has captured an international following while spreading Ozark stories and sound far beyond the deep-woods, cricks, hollers and hill tops of the Ozarks.

This is the project that started my Ozark music and songwriting tribute journey. 5 projects, 32 songs plus a 4 song remastered release. 2 hour audio drama with another 19 music pieces included in the "Curtis Lee" soundbed.

The Anthology includes; Ozark Anthology 2014, Junkyard Son 2016, Ozark Dirt Revival 2017, Book of Ozark 2026, "The Life and Times of Curtis Lee" 2026 .... so far!

I didn't see this coming, I didn't set out to be an orator or crusader for the Ozarks and its history. I am following an undeniable and compelling call.

I have learned when I refer to my Ozark roots, "It's not just the external physical influences of my surroundings, as they may change and fade in time. It is the deeply planted emotional seeds which live inside me and continue to flourish." rg
