This wonderful tune was written by Stephen Stills and recorded by Crosby, Stills and Nash in 1969. I hope you enjoy my arrangement for classical guitar. I’ve played it for years but just got around to recording it this week.. The “helplessly hoping” photos were all taken at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City.

Some people like Beatles, some like Roches. I happen to like both.

Recently while going through my files I found a lead sheet I had wr...

"Where or When" is one of my all time favorite songs by Richard Rodgers. It's a song about déjà vu, and interestingly, recording it was sort of déjà vu experience because I'd forgotten I had recorded it 14 (count 'em) years ago! In retrospect I'm glad I went back to it because I now think my younger self played it way too fast. I hope you enjoy it.

Amazingly, I never around to arranging this Beatle classic until pretty recently. I hope you enjoy my Chet Atkins influenced interpretation.

30 wonderful tunes are included in my book, "Beatles for Classical Guitar", but unfortunately this is not one of them (which I now regret). Along with millio...

“Hero” got my attention when it was used in the amazing movie “Boyhood”, which chronicles 12 years of a boy’s life in real time. The song was recorded by the group “Family of the Year”, and I think it translated well to solo guitar. I hope you enjoy it.

One big difference between Facebook and YouTube is that while posts on Facebook tend to disappear after a couple of days, you never know when reactions on YouTube will come through. For example, this comment was posted today on an arrangement I uploaded 15 years ago! I have no idea who Edward is, but he made my day and gave me a laugh. The song was “Boadicia”, by Enya, by the way. If you don’t know who Waldorf and Statler are, look them up. They’re hilarious.

Segovia and Les Paul, looking down, absolutely unable to come up with any Waldorf and Statler comments but, "BRAVISSIMO." \m/

"Follow Your Arrow" was a big hit for Kacey Musgraves in 2013. I'm not sure when I first heard it, but when I did I was instantly a fan. This is the first song by Kacey I've arranged for solo guitar. I doubt it will be the last. I hope you enjoy it.

Slowly but surely I might be becoming a "Swifty". Whether or not that's true, this is a good tune and I hope you enjoy it.
