Shiny new on wax!

Deep in the rabbit hole! We’ve been working on reconfiguring the Ampete here at the studio before the next round of tracking sessions, so it seemed like an appropriate time to shoot out ALL of the guitar cabs. It’s quite the process, we’ve done it once before but we just used one guitar / one amp for the testing. This time around we’re trying out a few of our favorite guitar and amp options as we go.

We’re learning a lot - finding new tones, reconfirming old combinations and occasionally busting some myths. Once we pick our favorite 8 or so we’ll go down another rabbit hole finding the best sounding speaker(s) for each cab and match them with our favorite mics ⚡️⚡️ ⚡️

This record was a joy to make. I’m honored to get to be deeply involved in many of ‘s musical adventures. This is my favorite Tigerwine record.

We get to be extra proud of this album since our assistant engineer - - is a resident shredder in Tigerwine as well.

We’ve been deep in mix-land the past few weeks knocking out around a song a day from our pile of mixes from this year’s projects. Luckily, Studio A is a wonderful place to be stuck in the mix rabbit hole.

pulled up to the studio last week with a handful of new songs to record and I’m over the moon with how these turned out. We set them up in the live room with monster rigs and just sat back and watched them beat ass for 3 days straight. There is something so magical about people playing music together in a room. I’m glad we could capture it.

We spent the last couple weeks diligently working on a new full length with our friends in

The album has heaps of hell-(and pitch)bent fuzz tones supported by an orchestra of Casio keyboards and sarcastic lyrical ideas that attempt to poke holes in sensitive dinner subjects. We had a great deal of fun and are looking forward to sharing this one with all of you ⚡️ ⚡️ ⚡️
