Even my wife Lisa didn’t know this until last week when we visited the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

CBGB’s was a club in New York in the 1970’s that had one idea in mind (Country, BlueGrass & Blues) but quickly evolved into the home where the punk rock music scene flourished.

When I started Buy D BoGam Music Inc it was formed as a publishing company to promote and manage mine & hopefully others original music. That idea quickly dwindled once I realized that I couldn’t make it as a songwriter although it’s always been my greatest passion.

So Buy D BoGam Music, Inc was reorganized as a way for me to focus on video, legal & live event production. We needed an easier name so I shortened it to;

BDBG Music. Here’s what Lisa never knew…

It was inspired by the name CBGB’s because of how fun it was to say as it rolled off the tongue.

22 years later, still going stronger than ever.

As Paul Harvey used to say,

“And now you know the rest of the story… Good Day!”

One of my favorite events to serve each year is Snow Ball benefiting Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas.

This is their 51st Annual event. The lady wearing the 51 jersey is the daughter of Chiefs & NFL Hall or Fame linebacker Jim Lynch.

Wonderful cause & a great bunch of folks!

One of my favorite events to work, United Soccer Coaches, this year in Chicago.

I’ve met many friends, visited terrific cities & thoroughly enjoyed the event itself.

BDBG Music has worked this event in KC, LA, Anaheim, Baltimore, Philadelphia & Chicago.

Very grateful to HMX Live for keeping us working this event for many years & for supporting my family’s love of travel!

Emanuel Cleaver in the house. Btw, said he would stay behind the lectern so we didn’t lav him. About 2 minutes into his time he decided to go rogue and stand in the middle of the stage without any mic whatsoever. Brilliant!

This is our 3rd year supporting this worthy organization with audio, video & DJ services.

Special thanks to Harvest Productions & HMX Live for the use of a 6x10 screen & projector for this event.

I hope The Farmer’s House raises tons of money tonight so they can further their great work with youth and adults with developmental disabilities.
