ABOUT MISTY BLU

Misty Blu started braiding family members hair at a young age in Kansas City.She has a formal education in hair care, training professionally at both a Vo-Tech and House of Heavilyn Beauty College in Missouri. In 2001 Misty became self-employed and after he desire to add makeup to her brand she launched her freelance makeup artistry. Also, during this time she won first place in her first hairshow competition.

Misty has worked on sets of some major local and national fashion and beauty campaigns alongside of the most influential industry photographers, models and designers -- including New York Fashion Week.

After making the decision to brand herself she started Paint The Town Blu, LLC in 2016. In April 2018, Misty expanded her career by debuting her very own haircare product for kids, named after her youngest daughter Miss Kinslees Organic Products™ a children's handmade and unique formula for multi-cultural haircare products. Kid Tested and Mother Approved. In June same year she launched her second brand The Carpe Diem Beauty Kollection® has transformed from not just an online hair & mink lash extensions store, but we also offer other beauty must-haves including hair care products & more coming soon. TCD Beauty Kollections was designed to augment PTB, LLC.
