Independent writers are the new lifeblood of publishing, and they have a place on Caroline Street to call home. At Caroline Street Press, LLC, we specialize in helping independent writers get their books to market. Instead, we guide writers through portions of the independent book publishing process and help them market their work. We no longer offer editing, layout, cover design, or production an
d distribution services. If you need these services, be sure to let us know, and at no charge, we can refer you to reputable contractors. We offer the following services:
• Caroline Street Press Imprint Certification. We will carry your self-published book in our catalog (subject to quality review). This means you may advertise your book, ebook, or audiobook as a Caroline Street Press title, which can improve your book's standing in the publishing and bookselling community.
• Publicity Services. Working with our public relations partner, we can publicize your books through press releases, podcast interview scheduling, social media content creation, and news media relations.
• General Consulting. Want an objective opinion about your manuscript? We will read your book (for a reading fee) and give you a detailed summary of our view of the story, general areas that need improvement, and marketability. We are most interested in the mystery, suspense, thriller, and horror genres. We are also interested in memoir, historical fiction/non-fiction, science fiction, westerns, and business-related nonfiction.
